Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd, trades his soul to the Devil, also known as Mr. Applegate, for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life that he's left behind. Joe ultimately outsmarts Applegate, returns to his former self and shepherds the Senators to the World Series.
Jason Borrie
Jason Borrie is a high school social studies and theatre educator at Northeastern Clinton Central School. He produces and directs productions with his school’s drama club and advises the student team that organizes North Country Model UN, a regional model UN conference for area middle and high school students. He has performed in and directed several local theatre productions with area community theatre organizations such as Artistry Community Threate, Adirondack Regional Theatre, Chazy Music Theatre, Essex Theatre Company, and North Country Ballet Ensemble. He co-founded, directs, and performs in Completely Stranded, Plattsburgh's Premiere Improv Comedy Troupe. He also serves his community as an elected councilperson in the Town of Champlain. Jason would like to extend a devilish grin and a wicked round of applause to all the talented cast and crew members working on Damn Yankees. Their extraordinarily high levels of ‘heart’ and ‘soul’ given in this production have not gone unnoticed. Lastly, a loving acknowledgment for the ‘brains and talent’ of the amazing Lola (Megan). The Chief admits it’s been a soulless pleasure working opposite you, Miss West Indies 1957.
Megan Land
Megan Land is ecstatic to joint the amazingly talented cast of ACT’s production of Damn Yankees! Megan has been performing in front of audiences for over 25 years. Some of her favorite roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors! and Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray. Recently you may have seen her as Susan in [Title of Show] or as The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. When not performing Megan is a clinical pharmacist, specializing in oncology care. She lives in Saranac Lake with her husband, Pete, and their two dogs, Abby and Perry. She enjoys reading, traveling with her family, taking her dogs on hikes and riding the motorcycle whenever the weather allows. Megan would like to thank her husband, family and friends for their unwavering support!
Mat Longware
Mat Longware is so excited to be playing Joe Hardy in this amazing production of Damn Yankees! Previous Artistry shows include Hello, Dolly and Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince). Previous shows include Shrek the Musical Jr, [title of show], Almost, Maine, and Peter Pan.
Carlinda LaPierre
Carlinda LaPierre is thrilled to be part of such an amazingly fun and talented cast. Carlinda has been singing and participating in local theatre for over 30 years. She has been a member of All-State and All -Eastern choirs and has performed in Carnegie Hall. Some of her favorite previous theatre roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Janet Van De Graaff in the Drowsy Chaperone, and Inga in Young Frankenstein. When she is not on stage, Carlinda works as a pharmacist and loves to spend time going on adventures with her two wonderful children, Finn and Aria, who have inherited their Mom’s love of the stage.
Bill McColgan
Bill has shared the stage several times with the talented people at ACT, having portrayed the Baker in Into the Woods, Horace in Hello, Dolly!, and Dr Kelekian in Wit. Locally, he has also worked with the Depot Theatre in The Addams Family (Mal) & A Christmas Carol (Scrooge) and Adirondack Regional Theatre in The Producers (Max) & It’s a Wonderful Life (George). Favorite shows/roles include: Urinetown (Lockstock), Children of Eden (Father), and Les Miserables (Bishop), along with the murderous trio of Jasper in Edwin Drood, Jud in Oklahoma!, and the Demon Barber in Sweeney Todd. Professionally, he has also performed in I Do! I Do! (opposite the exquisite Brenda Chase McColgan), the New England premiere of Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know, and more than 300 performances as Smudge in Forever Plaid. Bill and Brenda were also featured performers at Plattsburgh’s Curbside at the Harborside drive-in summer concert series. Bill is very proud to be Monica and Finn’s dad and to serve our beautiful region as a member of the team at Mountain Lake PBS.
Elizabeth Abair
Elizabeth Abair (Gloria) is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelors of Arts. She is also a member of Alpha Psi Omega the national theatre honor society. Elizabeth has been a part of many productions over the years, some of her favorite roles to date include, Elsa in The Sound of music, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Cathy in The Last Five Years, Diana in Next to Normal, Stepmother in Cinderella, Princess Fiona in Shrek, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Janet in The Rocky Horror Show, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, Catherine in Suddenly Last Summer, and Stevie in The Goat or Who is Sylvia. Elizabeth would like to thank the Artistry team for always being such a joy to work with. She would also like to thank her family for their never ending support of her theatre passion. Lastly, she would like to give a special thank you to her boyfriend Max, whose incredible love and support is unmatched!
Levi Julian
Levi is excited to be performing in his third show with Artistry with an amazing cast and crew! Levi has been on and off the stage since he was three years old, starting out with dancing and then moving to musical theater! Some of Levi’s favorite shows he’s been in include Cinderella(PDC and Artistry), Bye Bye Birdie(PDC), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang(CMT), Little Shop of Horrors(Artistry), Tragedy: A Tragedy(UJAC), and Wit(Artistry)! He enjoys singing for events and shows, reading, and watching YouTube videos and playing video games with his fiancé David. Levi would like to thank David for always being so supportive, and Annie and Derrick for just being amazing directors and friends! He hopes you enjoy the show!!
Carter Fredette
Carter is very excited to be performing in his first show with Artistry. Carter is in 10th grade so he participates a lot in his high school Drama Club. Since 4th grade Carter has played roles such as Jack(Into the Woods), Jojo(Suessical), Mike Teavee(Willy Wonka Jr.), and more. In his most recent musical he played the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. When not performing, Carter enjoys playing sports like hockey and golf. He is ready to show his friends and family all the new dance moves he has learned while preparing for Damn Yankees. Max Longware
Max Longware (Smokey/ Joe Hardy Understudy)- Max is excited to be participating in ACT's Damn Yankees, his sixth production with Artistry Community Theater. Max has been performing since he was in pre-kindergarten. He loves the theater and is honored to be working with such a talented group of actors. Past roles for Max include Ambrose in Hello Dolly, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Jeff in [Title of Show]. One of his new favorite pastimes is working on great theater productions with his amazing girlfriend Beth Abair (Gloria). He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he has enjoyed working with this stellar cast.
Avery Tromblee
Avery Tromblee is so excited to join Artistry Community Theatre for the third time with them. You may recognize Avery from previous shows with ACT, like Little Red in Into the Woods and the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. This is the first time that Avery has been back to perform at AVCS, since graduating in 2018. Avery is thrilled to be back with her theatre family, as she just finished off an internship with the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. Avery is a Theatre Major at SUNY Potsdam, and will graduate this Fall. She will further her education to receive her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. When not studying or singing, Avery enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Avery hopes you enjoy the show! Let the game begin!
Cody Gooley
Cody is thrilled to be back again for yet another Artistry Community Theatre show! This is his third summer show with them and his fifth overall. This time around, he will be playing the role of the dumb yet lovable ballplayer, Rocky. You may recognize him as the man-eating plant, Audrey 2, from the fall production of "Little Shop of Horrors," the hilariously funny Hunter Bell from "[title of show]," the royal steward, Lionel, from last summer's "Cinderella," or the sad lad Jack from "Into the Woods." Cody has just completed his first semester at SUNY Fredonia after transferring there this spring! He is currently working on getting his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a minor in Business Administration and Dance. When Cody is not onstage performing or working, he can be found sleeping until 2 PM or playing video games. He wants to thank this amazing cast and crew for all of the hard work, dedication, and heart that they have put into this incredible show, and he cannot wait for you to see the fruits of their efforts!
Ethan Luoma
Ethan Luoma is thrilled to be joining ACT for the fourth time in this production of Damn Yankees! Ethan began performing musical theatre when he was only twelve and you may have recently seen him in ACT’s production of Cinderella as Prince Christopher. Some of his other favorite roles have included Joseph Pulitzer (Newsies!) and Angus Tuck (Tuck Everlasting). When he is off stage Ethan attends the Crane School of Music as a vocal education major. He would like the thank his parents, Tim and Tracey, his Grandmothers Maryalice and Deborah, and his lovely girlfriend Lacie, and our six collective dogs for their unwavering love and support.

Lindsay Haner
Lindsay is so excited for her second Artistry show and her first time ever being on a sports ball team! She’s going to be a senior next fall and has been performing in musicals since she was in 3rd grade. When not on stage, she enjoys playing the drums, painting, and running away from bees. She’d like to thank her parents, friends, and partner for supporting her, and everyone else for coming!
Lee Fay
Lee Fay is thrilled to be in their 4th production with Artistry Community Theater for Damn Yankees! While this is not Lee’s first performance with ACT, this is their debut performance as a part of any sports team ever. However, Lee has spent the time that could’ve been spent developing athletic skill on the stage playing roles such as Sandy in Grease, and Riff Raff in the Rocky Horror Show. Lee would like to thank their family and friends for supporting their first athletic endeavor and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Cat Mintz
Cat Mintz has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Artistry Theatre's cast, and looks forward to being a baseball boy. It's great being a part of such a fun group of people who have so much fun with what they're doing. Previously, they had been in their high school's miscellaneous productions, such as Grease, Chicago, a memorable radio version of War of the Worlds. Offstage, they enjoy reading, writing, making some of their own jewelry, and their recent foray into embroidery. A huge thank you to their parents for all of their support! In total, they would rate this experience 5 out of 5 stars.
Gigi Mason
Gigi Mason is ecstatic to be back with her ACT family. Prior credits with ACT include Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Dancer in Cinderella, Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods, Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, and an ensemble role in Hello Dolly. Gigi has directed and acted in several regional theater companies including the Essex Theatre Company, Clinton Community College and the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, and she sang in the trio “Ya Got Treble”. She has sung with the Pleasant Valley Chorale for almost 30 years. Favorite roles include Chiffon in Little Shop, Jack’s Mom in Into the Woods, Mrs. Paroo in Music Man,Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense and Nunsense II, Lois Lane in Kiss Me Kate, and Mona in Chicago. Gigi was associated with Boquet River Theatre Festival (BRTF) from the summer of 1998 through 2018 as a costumer, director and producer, and is passionate about nurturing young actors. Gigi joined the directorial staff of the AuSable Valley Players in 2017 and has had the privilege of choreographing Chicago, WIlly Wonka, Mamma Mia and Footloose. Last year Gigi was hired as the Education Outreach Director for the Depot Theatre and is looking forward to expanding youth exposure to the theater arts in our region. Gigi is always grateful for the opportunity to be on stage and wants to thank Derrick, Elisha, Terpsie, Annie Laurie,her fellow actors and her handsome husband Eddie for all the love, belly laughs and support.
Sally Urban
Sally Urban (Doris) is looking forward to being a part of her third musical. She was a member of the pit choir in ACT's "Hello Dolly" and one of the Pick-a-Little ladies in ACT's "Music Man." Sally also performs with the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, Peru-Keeseville Ecumenical Choir, and Strawhatters Community Band. During the pandemic, Sally discovered an interest in landscape photography and her work has been in various galleries. Sally is on the board of directors for Piano By Nature. If not at work at SUNY Plattsburgh, in a rehearsal, or viewing a show, then Sally may be found in the gym or on a nature trail.
Sam Cooney
Ed Mason
Ed is so excited to be working with ACT again! Last summer Ed challenged his dancing skills in ACT’s production of Cinderella. Prior to that Ed had a blast playing the irritated Rudolf in ACT’s production of Hello Dolly, and the even more irritated Mayor Shinn in Music Man. In February of 2019 Ed shared his talent in the tech booth as the sound engineer for Steel Magnolias. Ed has been an active proponent of the arts for many years, having served on the Boquet River Theatre Board for over ten years, as well as being the President of the Board for over five. Ed’s love for community youth has also been visible in his many years of coaching youth baseball and other sports, and his position as the Westport Youth Commission Director for six years. Ed is co-founder and CEO of Telephone Technologies, and is the Director of Operations and Business Development for the Clinton County Advocacy and Resource Center. Off stage, the Commissioner is very happily married to Sister Miller and wishes to thank her and the rest of the cast and crew for their unconditional patience, support and all of the belly laughs. There is nothing like the unwavering friendships of “Theatre Folks!” Truly in a class of their own!”
Cailin Twomey-Mulvey
Cailin is so excited to be part of this production! You may have seen her most recently as Mom in SUNY Potsdam's production of "Sam's Story" and as Miss Jones in SUNY Potsdam's production of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" in the 2018-2019 year . She is thrilled to be back on the stage after a few year hiatus. Her favorite pastimes other than acting and singing include watching movies/ favorite TV or musicals , reading, writing, and spending time with loved ones. Many thanks to her family, especially her parents, for supporting her in this reentrance to the theatrical world!
Emily Guynup
Emily has been performing since the third grade and is delighted to take part in her second show with ACT. She has also performed with CMT 4 times, ART 1 time, she was in CCC Drama Club’s production of Young Frankenstein and has completed her first professional short film. Some of her influences include: David Arquette, Gilda Radner, Andy Kaufman, Martin Short, Rick Moranis, Tim Robbins, Betty White, Madeline Kahn, Lynn Redgrave, Carol Kane, Tommy Steele, Jaleel White, Nick Swardson, Johnny Depp, Gene Wilder, Joan Cusack, Uma Thurman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennette McCurdy, Drew Barrymore, Bette Midler, Carol Burnett, Whoopi Goldberg, Margaret Hamilton, Robin Williams, Bobcat Goldthwait, Crispin Glover and many more. She has enjoyed working on this production because she got to work with familiar faces and she got to know new faces. She would like to thank her cast and crew and those who support her as a performer. She would like to dedicate her performance to her idol David Arquette who was one of her biggest influences to become a performer. When she is not on stage she enjoys cooking, crafting, watching many films and tv shows, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and wanting to get back onto the stage as much as possible. She hopes that you enjoy the show because it is amazing and it has been a pleasure for her to be in it.
Ava Leibeck
Ava is thrilled to be back on stage once again. This is her second production with the Artistry Theatre. This year she's excited to have a couple of lines to share with the audience. Ava recently just finished her third year of Hip Hop dance with Center Stage. When not singing or dancing, she's either playing soccer or horseback riding. She wants to thank Mr. Hopkins, Mr. and Mrs. Mason, Annie, and her family for all their support throughout this production. Her favorite line from the show is "what Lola wants, Lola gets." Her favorite song is "You Gotta Have Heart." Enjoy the show, always be kind to others, and dream BIG!
Finn Mahoney
Finn Mahoney is thrilled to be acting in his second show with ACT. Finn is a 4th grader at Mooers Elementary. He loves to play hockey and to ride his bike. His favorite part of musical theatre is the acting and he loves to help with stage crew. He hopes you enjoy the show.
Aria Mahoney
Aria Mahoney is happy to be participating in her second production with ACT. Aria is a second grader at Mooers Elementary. She loves to paint and draw and sculpt, but theatre is her favorite activity. She hopes to someday star as Matilda in her favorite musical of the same name. She hopes you enjoy the show.
Annabelle Dragon
Annie Dragon (First Boy) is very excited to be performing in her second show with ACT. Her first performance was in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella as one of Cinderella’s mice (ACT ‘22). In addition to theater, Annie enjoys dancing, singing, and spending time with her pets. Annie would like to thank her family and the amazing cast and crew at ACT for all of their support.
Abigail Kaleita
Abigail Kaleita is 8 years old and goes to Willsboro Central School. She will be going into 4th grade in the fall. This is Abigails 4th play with Mr. Hopkins and is excited that her sister is able to join her in the fun this year. Two of the plays she has been in are Cinderella and Wizard of Oz. Abigail loves to play soccer, basketball and go skiing. Her most favorite thing to do is ride horses and spend time at the barn.
Elisa Kaleita
Elisa is very excited to be in her first play! Elisa is 6 years old and goes to Willsboro Central School. She will be going into 1st Grade in the fall. Elisa loves to play soccer and go skiing.
